Product data

All trip data is maintained in one place – costing and prices as well as images and texts such as itineraries, highlight texts and SEO texts. The system lets you add new fields or hide old ones as needed. All fields can be used on the website, in travel documents, mail merges or file exports.

Trip costing

SIO’s trip costing covers both simple and complex trips. A package can consist of a land programme or countless individual services. Multiple hotels, different service durations, multiple currencies or day-based / person-based prices are no problem. Optional extras are also possible and can be added per person, per room or per group – including extended stays and pre- or post-programmes.

Arrival

Flights can be created in the system or added dynamically via AER, Amadeus or Sabre. Arrival can be mandatory or booked as an extra. If a base flight price is already included in the costing, the customer is only shown the difference. For dynamic packaging, rules can be stored for flights – for example a time window for the group’s arrival at the destination or minimum requirements for flight duration, stopovers or included baggage. Other arrival options are coach, train or own arrangements.

Flight templates

The flight template module lets you create flight series quickly – particularly useful for charter flights. After creation, flights can be detached from the template and overwritten individually, or you can edit several flights at once.

Tour guides

One or more tour guides can be added to a group. Tour guides can also receive services via a tour guide booking – for example if they need their own flight or occupy a room.

Surveys and feedback

The CRM survey module is closely integrated with group tours and lets travellers rate individual hotels or services. Questions about the tour guides or overall satisfaction can also be added. Testimonials for the website can be created with one click, and star ratings can be evaluated over time on the website.

Margin calculation

Receipts can be recorded on the departure and are automatically broken down to the individual participants, calculating the individual margin. Services used by only one participant are recorded directly for that person.

Bulk document generation

The system can generate documents for an entire group and send them all at once – by email as PDF or in print. Documents can go to the customer, the travel agency or both.

Mail merge

Something unexpected happens and all travellers need to be informed? The system supports rule-based mail merges: for example, all travellers on a particular flight or all travellers in a particular hotel during a certain period can be selected. New travel documents or invoices can be sent with one click as well.

Further features

The group tour features are closely integrated with other functions of the system, such as rooming lists, participant lists, invoice and document generation, receipt capture and the request module.
